Covid-19 Vaccine Ages 5-11

Haymarket Pediatrics will not be offering the Covid-19 vaccine due to staffing. Our doctors do recommend the vaccine. Please visit www.vaccinate.virginia.gov or www.vaccines.gov to locate the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine that has been approved for children ages 5-11.

The FDA has approved the CDC recommendation of the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine for children ages 12 and older. Haymarket Pediatrics is actively trying to obtain this vaccine and will let you know if and when we receive it. Please check back for updates.

Given these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to offer Telemedicine appointments to help care for our patients’ medical and mental health needs.  As always, we are committed to providing personalized, quality care for your child and realize that these changing times are compelling us to embrace a new way of doing things.  Though we feel a virtual appointment may not be as accurate as an in-person medical examination, pairing live-video and voice conferencing can help you seek the healthcare your family needs without the risk of coming into the office. Haymarket Pediatrics will be offering virtual appointments during regular business hours, and if you are interested in one, please call the office to schedule. The appointment will be conducted via Facetime or Microsoft Teams as per your preference.  Our triage nurse will help you determine if a telemedicine appointment is right for your child’s ailment or concern if you are uncertain.
